The Rev. Dana Perreard serves as solo pastor of Haines Presbyterian Church in Haines, Alaska. He followed the call of God to Haines and began as their pastor on July 1, 2019.
Prior to that, Dana served as campus pastor and associate chaplain for worship at the University of Dubuque (UD) in Iowa. He was instrumental in expanding the music ministry, as he developed a growing number of student-leaders on the worship team. Dana joined the UD staff full-time in the summer of 2017 and brought extensive experience in youth, pastoral, and music ministry to this effort.
Prior to joining the UD student ministry, Rev. Perreard served as Associate Pastor of Worship and Student Ministries at GracePoint in Dubuque. He is an accomplished guitarist, song writer, and music director. And, with experience in outdoor adventure trips for developmentally and otherwise disabled clients, he was ready and willing to reach youth at GracePoint and the community of Dubuque.
Dana earned his Master of Divinity degree at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in 2004 and served as pastor of Community Presbyterian Church in Oakland, OR, until accepting the call to GracePoint.
